Our Sales & Estimating Team attended the #FutureofSoBo event hosted at City Garage in Baltimore this morning. This event focused of the development of South Baltimore and featured a panel of professionals from Sagamore Development, Sagamore Ventures LLC, Chesapeake Realty Partners, and South Baltimore’s City Councilman Eric Costello.

With Kevin Plank’s purchase of Port Covington over the last few years, major plans are underway to redevelop 266 acres into 13 million SF of office, residential, retail, restaurant, venue, public park, and green spaces.

The group of panelists shared their current and future plans and projects that will transform the industrial site to an attractive waterfront community and create the “livable, walkable community that people want to live and work in.” This massive project will create thousands of employment opportunities and will keep the local construction industry very busy.
