PCS Timeline

David Leach incorporates Power Component Systems, Inc. as an insulation consulting business
Alex Schmidt joins David Leach as a partner and the business transitions into an asbestos abatement contractor completing it’s first project on a local college campus
PCS becomes an onsite abatement and insulation contractor for Mead Westvaco at a paper mill in Covington, VA which would result in over 2,000 projects spanning 30 years
PCS and Trigen Energy form a joint-venture, Trigen|PCS, to launch R & D for a new insulation technology that would eventually lead to the birth of a new subsidiary, Thermal Science Technologies
PCS opens it’s first office in Hazleton, PA to capture remediation and demolition work in a growing construction market throughout Central PA
Our PA Division’s rapid growth requires relocation of it’s operations to a larger office and warehouse facility in Harrisburg, PA
PCS begins offering other environmental remediation services such as lead-based paint abatement, mold remediation, PCB ballast removal and mercury lamp tube disposal
MD Division begins to position itself to secure remediation and interior demolition contracts on military bases and in other secure Federal facilities throughout the Mid-Atlantic region

PCS purchases it’s first (of many) state-of-the-art remote-controlled Husqvarna DXR140 robots to increase productivity on demolition projects
