Project Details

PCS recently completed a project at the Starbucks Roaster facility. There are a total of five (5) Starbucks roaster facilities in the U.S. with York, Pennsylvania being one of them. Our PCS team knew that special planning would be involved to work at such a prestigious facility.
Chris Metzler got with his coffee stars, Chris & Ray, to develop a plan for the roof removal of the Roaster Train building. The Construction Manager installed a tower crane that was 125 feet tall prior to PCS starting. PCS crews removed the roof membrane down to the steel structure. Once steel was exposed, crews removed the remaining steel into manageable sections to enable the tower crane to lower all waste to the ground safely.
100% fall protection was in place at all times to ensure the safety of our PCS crew members. Chris Mauer & Ray Vonnieda led their crew to another successfully completed project.
