PCS, Inc. was selected by Allied Building Corporation to perform this unique and challenging renovation project for the new Hispanic center at St. Luke’s University Health Network. This former commercial mixed use building is in downtown Bethlehem, PA.
To kick-off the project, PCS crews abated all asbestos containing materials in preparation for demolition and saw cutting work in the next phase. PCS demo crews completely gut the existing structure and installed engineered shoring to enable saw cutting and removal of structural components for a new elevator and stair tower in the building. After that work was completed, all plaster and brick walls were stripped and glass block infills were removed at each window location. This was a fast-paced project with a tight schedule to keep and PCS was able to complete the work in the allotted time. PCS is always honored to be a part of community development projects in our local cities
