PCS was awarded selective demolition work at the future home of Keystone Fireworks in PA. This was an exciting project for all due to the amount of heavy equipment that would be utilized on this project. The first task was to remove all interior components, such as GWB partitions, ceilings and associated insulation, various doors & frames, mechanical components and the walk-in boxes. Our flooring crew comprised of Jared Upperman & Nick Coletta, successfully removed all carpet and ceramic floor tile followed by grinding to get the floor ready for the new flooring application. After the interior gut was complete, it was time to remove the Mansford roof and front structure. Ray VonNieda & James Hall both operated the Pettibone which allowed for this demolition. Once these components were on the ground, they used an excavator and a Bobcat to clear out the debris. Lastly, a Pettibone and an excavator (with a breaker attachment) were utilized to demo and remove the remaining slab and footers. Once all removal was complete, a skid-steer was used to backfill where the footers once were. The site is now ready for other contractors to build back the new Keystone Fireworks.
