‘I think about the times growing up where I would come to the office and “work” as a kid. My dad would bring me Saturday mornings. Obviously, this was before laptops and smart phones that help us manage our operations today. The Saturday morning office time was likely a necessity for my dad. Relatively quiet opportunity to get some work done. Luckily for him, no school or childcare on Saturday’s so I got to come to the office with him. He had graph paper and markers that he let me play with. I distinctly remember filling in the squares of graph paper with a message… “Mike Schmidt now works for PCS.” He put it on a push pin board in the office and I remember being so excited for everyone to see it. To this day, not sure if there was a job opening or not….but I forced my way into that position and hired myself. Never looked back.’
