Progress continues at the AOC Power Plant where PCS was contracted to abate and demolish materials throughout the plant during the multi-phase upgrade. Crews removed all electrical equipment from the ceilings and walls, abated LBP and then repainted with encapsulating paint. PCS removed exterior windows and abated LBP and contaminated caulk around the window frames. Crews demolished various PCB contaminated materials, including a chain-link fence, metal awnings, contaminated soil, and a 12’x12’ concrete pad. Crews also removed and disposed of ACM piping, insulation and beams found throughout the facility. Stay tuned for more updates!
