Progress continues at the AOC CPP where PCS, Inc. was contracted to abate and demolish materials throughout the plant during a multi-phase upgrade. Crews have removed all electrical equipment from the ceilings and walls, abated LBP and repainted with encapsulating paint. PCS removed exterior windows and abated LBP and contaminated caulk around the window frames. Crews demolished various PCB contaminated materials, including a chain-link fence, metal awnings, contaminated soil, and a 12’x12’ concrete pad. Crews also removed and disposed of ACM piping, insulation and beams found throughout the facility. PCS will continue work through the summer so stay tuned for more updates!
