PCS, Inc. recently completed work at the Carl Moultrie Courthouse in D.C. PCS was contracted to provide asbestos abatement in conjunction with interior demolition services to upgrade courtrooms and judges quarters throughout the building. Demo crews removed ceilings, drywall, plumbing, partitions, light fixtures, doors, frames, windows, benches, flooring, and mechanical piping/ductwork. PCS saw cut slab openings for new ductwork and provided openings in walls for needling, which was done by others. PCS abated mechanical ductwork and removed other ACM including linoleum, mastic and VAT. This was a phased renovation project with labor restrictions.
