Progress continues at Greenfield Senior Living in Winchester, VA where PCS was contracted by Scott Long Construction to provide selective demolition and asbestos abatement services. Demolition crews are performing a partial interior gut of the first and second floors and a complete interior build-out on the 5th, 6th and 7th floors, demolishing over 57,000 SF of materials. Materials being removed include ceiling, drywall, plumbing & light fixtures, doors, frames, windows, and mechanical piping/ductwork. Demo crews are utilizing our DXR demolition robot to remove larger items and increase productivity. Abatement crews are removing asbestos-containing materials and lead-lined walls throughout the building as well.
