Construction is underway at the Water Street Mission “Mission Makeover” project. PCS, Inc. was contracted by Warfel Construction to assist in the 7-day kitchen and dining area renovations that began on Sunday evening. “Mission Makeover” includes plumbing, electrical and structural renovations that will provide working, efficient equipment, a better dining flow, and improved quality and experience to Water Street Mission’s guests. This scope of work would normally take about six weeks to complete but crews are racing against the clock to have this done in just one week!
PCS selective demolition and floor prep crews are onsite removing interior walls, ceilings, tile flooring, doors, and frames. PCS crews will also saw cut areas on the second floor for new duct penetrations.
Water Street Mission provides tools to people experiencing homelessness, starting with a meal and shelter. All of their guests also have access to medical, dental, behavioral health, spiritual and career support. PCS is very happy to be apart of this great cause.
